The members of FRAME, and Hayato Akiyama and Shiki Iseya of HighxJoker are appointed to be mascots of a commercial for an American imported candy maker, "American Candy".

The commercial's concept is an "American-like, high-tension cuteness".
In order to grasp the concept image, the members decide to hold a strategy meeting in an atmospheric cafe.

Using the word "American" as a base, Hayato and Shiki use a certain idol as a reference.
Meanwhile, FRAME's members are struggling with the concept of a high-tension cuteness, when Ryu is reminded of a previous performance's choreography...?

Being surrounded by big-sized candy already gives off an American feeling!

Focusing on dynamic and cute moves, let's deliver this candy's sweetness through a fun commercial!
Event TOP
【American Candy】Hideo Akuno Pink and light blue... this is some pretty flashy colouring. It's no good if you don't give it 120% more than your usual tension. Alright, let's give it a try!

【Positive Happy】Ryu Kimura Ooh, a candy commercial? I really like this cheerful pop kind of feeling. It makes you feel like you can really give it your all!

【American Candy】Seiji Shingen Shiki prefers mustard, right? ...It's not spicy enough? Haha, make sure you don't pour too much.

【American Candy】Hayato Akiyama American, high tension, and cute... Haruna would be more fitting than me... But, I won't know 'til I try.

【Lollipop Tension】Shiki Iseya I really love this candy here, y'know! Producer-chan must have known when they were giving us this commercial~!

Five people, my two dobermans, and John with Ryu…

I meant to take the dogs for a short walk, but we brought the whole family along today, huh.

This sort of thing is nice once in a while. Next time I’ll have to bring my landlord’s dog too.
This is Iseya and Akiyama’s first time walking dogs, isn’t it? Why don’t you take John’s lead?
Alright! I wanna try walking with John!
Okay the...n!? What’s wrong John, why are you suddenly running away!?
Ryu-san!? Oh no, we have to go after them!
J, haa… T-this is… a hamburger shop? The smell of cooking meat...
So John was attracted to this smell. Oh, it looks like pets can enter this shop too.
It smells good… I got kinda hungry after running, so why don’t we drop in for a bit?
Good idea. We can have a strategy meeting for our commercial shooting while we’re at it, so let’s take a break here.

Eatin’ hot dogs makes me feel so American! We could totally get some good ideas here!
A high tension, pop feeling is an important factor, right… What kind of appeal would be good…?
The spirit is the most essential… J, John! Jumping up so suddenly again…

Look here! I already said no! Please sit still until I’m done talking~!

Ooh, he’s sitting in Ryu-chi’s lap! So cute~♪
Isn’t he~? This guy here is the whole family’s idol.
John sure is loved, isn’t he~ He’s really cute!
But for some reason, he was still unsold at the pet shop. He even had a price tag like they were begging to give him away.

Everyone decided right then and there that we couldn’t leave him behind, so we took him home with us that same day.

Uu… we unlocked an emotional backstory...! Good for you, John-chi! You found yourself a nice owner!

Phew… the conversation got a little derailed there.
Haha… Let’s go back to the work talk then.
The commercial is for imported American sweets, so the filming concept is an American-like, high tension kind of cute.
An American-like high tension… what kinda feeling would that be like?
American… English… so, like Maita-sensei?
I see! So it’s a high tension like Rui-chi!
Oh yay! Mega MAX saiko baby! Hyper happy okay!
What is that idiot-like feeling!?

Ah!! Was that an imitation of me!? How mean~!

I never said it was a Shiki imitation. Or perhaps you have some self-awareness after all~?
Ha, Hayato-chi is such a bullyー!

A high tension cuteness, huh. How do we express that sort of thing? That’s the big question here.
Hm… Oh yeah, the choreography for the Donuts Live was pretty cute too, right?

How about we try flavouring our American high tension with that kind of atmosphere?

Sounds good. Since it’s a commercial filming, we’ll have to exaggerate expressions and movements much more than during a live...
Hm… that does sound like a good idea.
Haha, John is saying so too! “I’m in favour!” he says!
Alright. Let’s all meet up to discuss it together again tomorrow.
Okay! We found our direction and image now, huh!

Hey, Shiki. What did Ryu-san mean when he was talking about the Donuts Live choreography?
♪~♪~♪♪~

...Like that!

I see… It really is cute! If we add some American energy here…

♪~♪~♪♪~

Oh yes!

Ooh~ That’s so Rui-chi! Ah, then how about this?

♪~♪~♪♪~

...Oh yeah!

C’mon c’mon, Hayato-chi too!

Eh!? Do that incredible pose!?

...♪~♪~♪♪~

Oh yeeaah!!

Was that right?

...Pff.... ghuhaha… I, I think it was pretty good…. pfft!!
Shi-ki--! You tricked me again…! But… pfft… That is pretty funny, isn’t it…! Here’s payback!
Ahaha! Ha, Hayato-chi, that’s unfair…! That pose is way too funny! Let’s do it together next!
♪~♪~♪♪~...Phew! Oh yeah!

Uwah… everything is so bright. Using all these flashy colours is “pop”, huh…
It’s more than I expected. A high tension style would certainly call for these types of colours.
You’ll lose if you get overwhelmed. Let’s go just like we all planned!

(I’m gonna have to make some big movements if I really want to exaggerate them! To raise the tension… hwoa!?)

Ryu, are you alright? That was quite a flashy fall…!
I’m alright, it didn’t hurt at all thanks to this sea of jelly beans! And look!

Even though I fell so flashily, it doesn’t seem like it was a problem. The camera was still rolling the whole time too!

The director is making an OK sign with their arms. Comical action is good too, they said. Nice work, Ryu!
They said to keep it going just like this, too.
Alright! I’ll change any trouble into good luck! I’ll go at it with everything I’ve got!

Ryu-san and the others are really going at it…! We can’t lose either!
Right! Let’s get started… with a dive into the jelly bean sea!
Me too… Ah, there’s a huge candy over there. If I use this…!

I’ll show you my superior technique with this candy guitar!

Hayato-chi’s got an air guitar goin’ on over there. Then, I’ll use a lollipop too…

Yay! I’ll show you all my beautiful voice with this candy mic!

And then for appeal, if I stick my tongue out it looks like I’m eating the candy mic…

And then and then, with an American-like high tension pose… take this! How’s that!?

(Ooh, the staff’s givin’ a good reaction too…!)

(Let’s keep it going for even more mega MAX tension!)

Phew… It was only a commercial filming, but all that moving makes me feel as exhausted as after a live.
It was tiring but fun! I really enjoyed the filming!
Ryu. That flashy fall turned out fine, but are you hurt anywhere? I was worried.
Since the staff didn’t stop it… They probably thought that was acting.
The director was pleased too, so I’m fine! Being tough is one of my redeeming features.

“I’ll use up a lifetime’s worth of bad luck!” is what I was thinking when I fell!

Use your bad luck and turn it into a success, huh. You did great, Ryu.
That’s his positive spirit for you. I should follow your example!
It was thanks to everyone else, too. Hehe… I should report this to John when I get back.
