• The name Daigo means "big, great" (大) (dai) and "I, me" (吾) (go).
• Daigo's surname Kabuto means "helmet, headpiece" (兜).

• Daigo is in the 'Game Club' with Kyoji, Hayato, Takeru, and Shiro. His specialty is in fighting games.
• Daigo is the youngest of five brothers.
• Daigo's highest stat is dance at level 9. He shares the spot of highest dance stat with Ren.
• Daigo's catchphrase is はなまる笑顔 (gold star smile). Hanamaru refers to a flower shaped symbol that teachers draw or stamp onto student work with outstanding grades.
