Goro Sanjo is one of the 9 New Idol Discovery Audition candidates. He is based on the historical figure Ishikawa Goemon, an outlaw who stole gold and other valuables to give to the poor.

- The name Goro means "enlightenment" (悟) (go) and "son" (郎) (ro).
- Goro's surname Sanjo means "three" (三) (san) and "article" (条) (jo).
