THE iDOLM@STER SideM GROWING STARS
THE IDOLM@STER SideM GROWING STARS (アイドルマスター SideM グローイングスターズ Aidorumasutaa Saido Emu Gurooingu Sutaazu) or SaiSuta (サイスタ) for short, is a free-to-play rhythm game released for mobile devices based on THE iDOLM@STER SideM.
Gameplay[edit | hide | hide all]
- Idols with vivid movements & expressions
Incorporating a new expression method that makes the graphics move vividly, the game tends to deliver the movements and facial expressions of the idols in order to convey their individuality.
- Brand-new Story
The fully-voiced story depicts the bond and growth of idols and producers. It also features Individual idol episodes and episode zero that tells the reason why they became idols. The idol units will have brand-new stage costumes and logos in the game. Players can also interact with the idols via in-game social media that is similar to real-life WhatsApp.
- Rhythm Gameplay
This game also features enhanced standard rhythm gameplay with music full of exhilaration and speed. In addition to new animations (similar to Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage's 2D Live), some of the songs have a Singing Part function, in which players can select the performer by team building. The difficulty level of the songs can be selected from 4 levels: EASY, NORMAL, HARD, and EXPERT.
Additionally, the player can use 20 ST to do Oshigoto (Work). The player can select Physical, Intelligence, Mental, or All work; upon selecting, a random idol from that type (or any type from All) appears, and the player gains EXP, Items, etc. Occasionally, a short communication with the idol can appear.
Gacha[edit | hide]
The gacha is used to scout for new idols and to obtain cards using star gems as currency. SSR cards unlock special outfits that can be viewed through in lives.
Platinum Gacha[edit | hide]
In the regular Platinum Gacha, players can scout for Rare, Super Rare, and Super Super Rare cards using star gem as currency. It costs 250 star gems for 1 scout and 2500 star gems for 10 scouts. A player can also scout once per day with 60 paid gems. In a 10 scout, the tenth card in the scout is either a SR card at 94% or a SSR card at 4%.
Each pull from the Gacha rewards players one Memorial Star. After 200 Memorial Stars (equivalent to 200 total rolls), players can pick up one of the idols that are featured in Platinum gacha. Once the gacha period ends, any unused Memorial Stars get converted into Memorial Pieces which can be exchanged for items in the Memorial Pieces Shop.
