Takeru Taiga is one of the Idols available to produce at 315 Productions. He was a former boxer before forming the Idol Unit, THE Kogadou with Ren Kizaki and Michiru Enjoji.

Profile

Takeru is a former professional boxer. He became an idol in order to find the family he grew up with at the orphanage. Takeru isn't the type to show his emotions on the outside, so it's easy to mistake him as bad-tempered and cross. In truth, he's just a poor speaker. A stoic hard worker with passion hidden deep within, Takeru doesn't miss a single day of training¹.

• The name Takeru is written in katakana (タケル), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (猛, 武瑠, 武流, 武琉, 武留, 丈瑠, 丈流, 丈琉, 丈留, 尊瑠, 尊流, 尊琉, 尊留, 武尊 or 建), it could possibly mean:

Trivia

• Takeru carries around a picture of himself with his siblings, which can be seen in his introductory magazines and 4th Anniversary Live ~Fists of Faith~ magazine.
• Takeru is associated with cats, with his casual clothes being from Nekota Gym (“Neko” meaning cat), and even his default SideMini sprite featuring a cat design on his shorts that is a tiger in his full-size outfit.
• Takeru is in the game club with Kyoji, Daigo, Shiro, and Hayato. His specialty is in shooting games, which also makes an appearance in events such as Cybernetics Wars ~Mechanical Rebels~ and Bullets of Heresy.
• In his Live on Stage idol memories, Takeru brings up that he was forced to retire from boxing due to a retinal detachment [1].
