Takeshi Mimasaka is one of the 9 New Idol Discovery Audition candidates. He is based on the historical figure Miyamoto Musashi, a swordsman known for his excellent and unique double bladed swordsmanship and undefeated record in his 60 duels.

- The name Takeshi means "military, martial" (武) (take) and "history" (史) (shi).
- Takeshi's surname Mimasaka means "beautiful" (美) (mi) and "work, production, cultivation, tillage" (作) (masaka).
