Jupiter and Cafe Parade’s Soichiro and Saki are starring in a kimono commercial!
They will be filming and residing at a temple, in addition to recording online bonus footage.
However, what strange things are people saying about the temple…?

Once upon a time, there was a Red Oni who swore revenge upon humans.
While the Red Oni plotted his revenge, a Crow Tengu had protected the humans by creating a hidden village
One day, The Red Oni had found the village and attacked it out of hatred…
For this action-packed kimono-sleeve fluttering commercial, let’s create a film that will keep everyone on the edge of their seats!

It won’t be just a commercial, there’s gonna be bonus footage put on the internet too, right? I heard we’ll be training by doing stuff like Zen meditation and making vegetarian food! Let’s do our best to make sure everyone’s interested in both!

Ah, also…Earlier, I heard from the temple staff that a tengu was seen near the temple recently!

For the commercial, I’m gonna be a Yuki-onna and you’re gonna be a tengu, right Soichiro? Once you put on your costume, they might think you’re one of their friends! ♪

I don’t believe that tengu exist. I have yet to see one myself. Doesn’t it seem more likely that they saw something else?
You’re no fun Soichiro~. It’s all about believing in them!

Hey, Touma, Hokuto. You read the script yet? It's an action-packed movie filled with yokai… It’s more of a movie than a commercial!
The main characters are a red Oni who attacks humans and a crow-tengu who protects the humans…
I’m playing the crow-tengu’s servant tanuki! Since you’re playing the Red Oni, you and I are enemies~.
That’s right. I’m gonna go all out with my villain role, so you better be prepared, Shouta!
My role is the neutral informant, the gashadokuro. What an interesting character.

On that topic, this is the second time Touma and Shinonome-san were in a play together.

Sure is. There was a scene in “Cybernetics Wars ZERO” where we confronted each other. But this time, we’re gonna have a real fight scene!

I’m tied with Shinonome-san again, but in a brand new setting! I need to get fired up! Hey, why don’t we go over the script right now? Just to check.

I’m down! Let’s start with the scene where Touma and I meet.

“Uuu… *sniffle*... so cruel! The village is on fire… who could do such a thing...”
“This runt must be who I think it is… it’s the crow tengu’s brat.”
“Eek! R-red Oni! I’m sorry! I’m sorry! Please let me go…!”
“Kukuku… I could eat you up right now… but I’ll let you go for today. Go tell that tengu about this attack.

If he keeps trying to protect humans, he better be ready to face off against me!”

Being a villain is kinda nice. It’s worth the effort!
I know we’re just reading the script, but I’m already thinking of adding some sick moves. I’m playing a quick-moving tanuki, so I’m sure acrobatic-like stuff would be fitting.
Since this is a kimono commercial, it’s best if we keep our costumes neat.
Yeah. And it looks like the same cloth in our costumes is the same ones for the kimonos.
If I do acrobatic action stuff, won’t it show how great the clothes are? ...I’ll think about it some more then! ♪

Alright! Next up is the temple training for the bonus footage. The challenge this time around is… Zen meditation! Make sure you don’t get hit with the Zen stick, Shouta!
Huh?! Why am I the one being targeted?
That’s because getting hit is a great way to experience Zen meditation. Shinonome-san even wanted to ask the priest to hit him earlier.
Really…? But I don’t want to get hurt though.
You better be ready, Shouta. Shinonome-san and Mizushima-san are waiting for us to start!
(...Ah, my legs are falling asleep… I’m gonna adjust them just a little bit…)

(Sheesh… I didn’t think I’d be the first one to eat it…Not only that, but Shinonome-san has been calm for this entire meditation… As expected of him. Shouta too. He didn’t like it at first but he hasn’t got hit once. Look at him go…)

Your legs must be numb, Touma. Be careful not to fall. But other than that, Zen meditation is nice to do once in a while. It’s like my worries were washed away.

Was that Shouta?! W-woah, there’s a shadow on the screen… what is that… some winged creature?!

What?! There’s no such thing as tengu!
But I heard the temple staff say they saw a tengu earlier, so it could be...
Tch.. I don’t know what you’re talking about, but Shouta’s in danger! Let’s go!

Shouta! Hey, Shouta! ...Are you OK?!

Wha… could it really be a Tengu?! ...Dammit, I don’t know what’s going on, but I don’t care who they are! That’s one of my best friends! Let go of Shouta right now!

...H-huh? ...Is that..Shinonome-san?

Y-yes,it’s me. What did you think it was?
Well, I, uh... thought it was a tengu... with that costume...
The staff asked me if I could try on my Crow Tengu outfit again so they could make some adjustments.
Try on? But Shouta… Didn’t he scream earlier?
Scream? I was just impressed at how good Soichiro-san looked in his outfit.
S-seriously? ...I take back my nervousness then.

Yeah! And Touma looked really cool defending Shouta back there! ♪

It’s almost time to begin filming. We’re doing the battle scene between me and Amagase-san’s Oni role first.

My role is to be a kind tengu who protects humans… It seems that tengus are originally violent by nature. So if an opponent appeared in front of one… I’ll think about it as I act.

“Very well. If we can’t understand each other, let’s settle this once and for all.”
“Fine by me. I’m no fan of settling things quietly… Ha!”

(Red Oni jabs at the Crow Tengu)

“Kukuku… you’re trembling. You’ve shown how you truly fight! So this is the ‘white knight’ Crow Tengu everyone’s been talking about, huh..? Are you having fun too?”

“Hmph… Don’t lump me in with a bastard like yourself.”
I’m glad I could use the move I came up with while cleaning the garden.
That wind… Shinonome-san came up with it during the performance? He’s killing it!

“It’s dangerous to go past here, young lady.”
“So shameless… It’s obvious you’re the one manipulating all this!”
“I don’t think I’m a manipulator. I’m merely a supporting role. I’m just a bystander watching chaos eat the world away.”
(Yuki-onna sneaks off to Tanuki)
“...Report this back to Crow Tengu, Tanuki. Gashadokuro has been instigating all of this. The one who’s been ordering Red Oni to attack humans… is him.”
“Tell Master…?! U-understood! But Yuki-onna-san, what about you…?”
“I’ll make sure he stays here. I won’t let him do whatever he wants! Hurry, go!”
“G-got it! I’m off!”
“You aren’t going anywhere… Woah.”
“Caught off guard? I’ll freeze you with my snow!”
Great job as usual, Shouta. He captured the tanuki’s nimbleness. Next up is… me and Mizushima-kun’s showdown.

“*sigh* Quick Tanuki. Those who are weak have to be fast to escape.”
“You were trying to aim at him then, weren’t you?”
“Yes, I suppose. I thought it would be more fun to have the whole cast come together. Nevertheless, I'm surprised at how a lady like you can have such good instincts, Yuki-onna-san. Good eye.”

“I’ve worked on this script for a long time, and having a fine actress as yourself on my side would be comforting. Would you like to join me, Yuki-onna-san? Why don’t we watch the end together?”

“I refuse. No matter how many times you ask, the answer will always be no!”
“Is that so… I don’t hate the fact that my flattery didn’t work but... that’s a shame.”
“The difference in strength is clear… If it means I have to sacrifice myselfーKyaaa!!”
(Gashadokuro breaks free.)
“Fufu… Your snow can only last so long. It’s just you now. But to stab a column of ice through my heart… I knew you wanted to be close.”

“The hidden village was concealed for the sole purpose of avoiding oni attacks. How could you have possibly found their location… Who on earth told you?!”
“The smell of humans on you is strong, Crow Tengu. Anyone who sides with humans has bad blood with me… Drop dead!”
“Look out!”

“Wha-Tanuki… Were you… protecting me?”
“M-master… Red Oni… P-please listen…

Yuki-onna has a message… This fight… was all planned.”

“You…Are you saying this was all a set up? Hey!”
“Red Oni...I understand… your grudge against humans… but…I’m sure that Master… can have yokai and humans… get along in the future...”
(Tanuki dies and Gashadokuro comes in.)
“That future will never come. I was hoping you’d both destroy each other, but it seems like I didn’t need to intervene.”
“Tanuki…! Gashadokuro.. just what are you planning, you bastard…!”
“Who knew that one animal could turn the script on its head… I can’t believe I missed it.”
“You… lied to me this entire time? But you said humans were the one who destroyed Oni Island…”

“So that’s it. All of this was so Crow Tengu and I could face off against each other…I hate humans…but I hate being used even more!!”

“I'm proud of you… my brave tanuki. Your dreams will come true…!”
My role is up. I’ll leave the rest to you two!
I have a little bit more to go. Now we’re at the final scene.
Yeah! Let's use all the patience we got through training to get through it!

(Gashadokuro, Red Oni, and the Crow Tengu are fighting)
“This… ends now!!”
“Ku...uwaaaaa!!!”
(Gashadokuro is defeated)
“Sheesh. Tough guy… Speaking of tough guys, I can think of one more.”
“...We’ve both done our best to help each other. Shall we call it a night?”
“I give. Once I’ve decided on something, it’s done ‘till someone dies. That’s the Oni way.”

“...That guy destroyed Oni Island, and I blamed humans for it.”

“And so you couldn’t help but fight… I see. Fighting is in your blood.”
“You got that right. Beating you up won’t bring them back. But…Coincidentally, there’s nothing stopping me from fighting you now.”
“Troublesome, aren’t you… Heh, I feel the same way. Very well, I’ll keep you company.”
“...Take that!"
(They battle again and scene ends.)
Soichiro, good work! That last scene was really good!
