Oh, so this's Edo Park! It looks just like you'd imagine it, based on the name.
This place being made to be as close as possible to the real thing is its selling point.

It's like we've gone back in time to the Edo period! This is so exciting!

...Idols going back in time to the Edo period, huh... I could write a book about that.

...In that case, there's the question of how many years we've gone back in time. It would be the end of the Edo period...

Woah! Idols in the end of the Edo period sounds like it'd be an interestin' story!
...No, excuse me... our job today is to report on traditional Edo-period craftsmaking.

...Before we report, we must deepen our understanding of traditional crafts. ...I heard that we can experience making traditional crafts ourselves at the workshop. Shall we go now?

Amazin'! So the shops here all do traditional handicrafts!?
Considering it's just an experience facility, it sure does look like the real deal.
We'll report about this, huh...'kay, first off we gotta choose which things we're gonna try.
Kazuki-anisan and the rest seemed to have already decided on theirs, so we shouldn't overlap...

Oh, this wood carving is rather...'kay, I'm going ‘ere.

Genbu, look ‘ere! You can draw on a lantern in this one!

It looks like a penlight at a live, ain't it pretty? I'm decided on this one!

Haha. With those done, we sure decide fast huh.
They say walls fly at great speed or somethin' don't they!? Let's hurry up and get to experiencin'! *
What they said was "wars are won by great speed,"...I wonder if we meant the same thing.
* Suzaku says 塀は神速でかっ飛ぶって ("Fences fly at great speed"), the correct one is what Genbu says, 兵は神速を尊ぶ ("Soldiers respect great speed"). The takeaway is that the first words of both were homophones ("hei"), and the verb is completely different.

...Is that Ryo and Daigo? How are you doing? Are you both finished already?
Yeah! The craftsman taught me how to make a Kumihimo! Man, that was fun!
...I was just finishing up drying my indigo dyed scarf. It will be done very soon.
Indigo dye is dried in the sun? I had no idea...
...Apparently, drying it in the sun makes the indigo color more vivid. I'm excited to see the finished product.

...Actually making something like this is a valuable experience. ...If I hadn't done this, I wouldn't know the senses such as touch and smell that go along with this experience. ...This experience should make a world of difference in the persuasiveness of our report.

Uh huh! I've gotta put all the stuff the craftsman taught me to good use in our report!
Yeah! Let's make a report that gets others interested in making traditional crafts!

Genbu look at this! The Crimson Suzaku Lantern is complete!

So it's easy to get attached to it when ya make it yourself. Hehe.

I know the feelin'. This irregularly-sculpted turtle surprisingly ain't that bad either.
I wonder if we can get this through to the viewers at home, huh...
What's the matter. Ya don't seem well, Suzaku.
Even though I've done lives, quiz shows, and movie shoots so far...

It's my first report, and it's a live broadcast. Honestly, I ain't confiden– Geeh! What the heck Nyako, don't just headbutt me like that outta nowhere!

That's just how that guy encourages, ain't it. Somethin' like "If it's Suzaku, he can do it!"
...Thanks. There ain't any time for me to feel weak...

Let's practice!

...I think my first time indigo dyeing went well... I'm satisfied.
It turned out great, Sensei! That indigo looks good on ya.

Ryo, yer Edo-style fan looks good, too. I can tell ya put yer heart into makin' it!

Ehehe, thank you! The Kumihimo you made looks nice too!
It sure does! Wahaha! I did great!
...What's most important is that both of you are satisfied as well.
Yes!

...Ah, it's almost time. How about we start getting ready to record? Let's make this a report that is truly us!

(...That's right, our job today is to report. We have to use our words, without anything being written down.)

(However... what words are truly me...?)

In Edo Park's experience facility, feel free to learn traditional craftsmaking...uhm...

(Dammit, my brain just went blank...this is a live broadcast!)

It would be great if you could deepen your understanding [of craftsmanship] through getting to experience it. Well then..

We'll pass the broadcast over to F-LAGS. How 'bout that, Kazuki-anisan, Ryo, Daigo!

...m' bad, Genbu. 'Cuz of me y' even had to turn it over to F-LAGS.

I got no idea how to explain it, so I got nervous. I'm so stupid... ...Aah? What the hell, Nyako, that tickles... Haha, I said stoppit.

...You still gotta get used to making explanations. That's okay, Suzaku.

All ya gotta do is just say what ya felt. I believe in ya.

Genbu...Nyako...thanks! I'll start over from here...

BURNIN'!!!!!

Now we'd like to share the appeal of traditional crafts with you!

This thing that I'm holding is an Edo-style fan that was made in the workshop.

What's the difference b'tween that fan and any other ol' fan, Ryo?
It's made of bamboo, so it's light. Also, even if you move it just a little bit...

See!

Woah, what a gentle yet strong breeze! That Edo fan might be perfect for ya.
(The charm of their report... it is due to them sharing their thoughts candidly.)

(I've been overthinking this. There was no need for me to search for words that are truly me...) (I'll put my thoughts and feelings into words... that's all I have to do.)

Okay then, Sensei, what would ya say the appeal of the experience ya had of indigo dyein' is?
...The first thing I noticed was how many different shades of indigo there was. For example...

As expected from F-LAGS! We won't lose to ‘em either!
The camera's on ya, Suzaku. Ya ready?

3, 2...

...Well then, now we're gonna introduce the crafts we made!
When you light this lantern...
It looks like this. Pretty, huh?

It was hard to draw on the bumpy parts, but it was super fun!

And there's no chance of ya getting anything wrong,'cuz professional craftsmen will be helping ya.

But it was still difficult to create exactly as I imagined it. Again, I would like to extend my respect towards the craftsmen's excellent technique.

All of ya should also go here to experience the BURNING craftsmanship!!

"This was brought to you by F-LAGS!"
"And Shinsoku Ikkon!"
"Thank you for watching!"
Great job at the recordin', ya two!

Our job went well today, too! Wahaha!

...I wonder if our report was able to fully reach the audience.
Once in a while, you said some words that were hard for me to understand...

But Kazuki-san, you explained your thoughts on indigo dyeing well! You did great!

...Is that so... I may have embellished my words too much.
No, it's good to have a big vocabulary. Ya can express yourself with that alone!

Yer a lil' bit different than usual when we're doin' a job that involves words. Just like I'd expect!

...So words are a strength of mine? I thought that was a useless ability for an idol to have, but...

...How I could make use of the things I'm skilled at... that is something I'll think about.

We got through the relay broadcast without incident somehow. Good work.
Yeah... thanks a lot today, Genbu, Nyako.

I got no idea how I could thank ya when you’ve helped me that much...

Stupid. We ain't strangers, partner.

C'mon, this guy thinks so too.

Aah?
(Zoom in on Nyako)
Even Nyako is replyin', what are ya, on Genbu's side!?

But, this is where I draw the line.

Lemme tell ya how I honestly feel!

Good grief. Haven't you gotten back to your usual smile.
Yeah! I won't lose.

'Cuz next time I’ll definitely be the cool one!
